Content Management System (CMS) NEW FEATURE

The AbleCommerce CMS represents all the items in your store that provide some kind of content to the user. For instance, a category provides a user with a navigation system that they can browse to look through your store. A product provides content about something that can be purchased. A webpage provides static content for the purpose of distributing information to the user.

AbleCommerce gives you the ability to combine your website and product content, giving you a single point of administration where you'll benefit from easy maintenance and management.

Product Management

A product is something that can be purchased from your store. Products are usually listed under a category or subcategory. Every product in your store has certain information stored, including name of the product, the cost, weight, description, and more.

Each product can be assigned to one or more categories, and allow you to offer different "Shop By" features for your customers. Increase buying incentives with product specials and discount methods which can be applied in many unique ways.

Cross Selling of Related Products

You can easily search the database for accessory items that are related to your main product. You can associate categories, products, webpages, or links to your products so that customers can click through to related information.

If other accessory products are setup in the cross-sell association, your customers can purchase these related products at the same time, from the same page.

Inventory Control and Notifications

You can switch on the Inventory control feature to add and keep track of stock on-hand, reserved stock, and re-order levels. Merchants can receive automatic notification by email when it's time to reorder products. Also includes a Batch Update report to quickly find and update all items at, or below, the re-order level you set.

Product Attributes and Options

For each product, you can also setup attributes like Size, Color, Type, etc. For each product attribute, you can add all the options you'll need like Red, White, Blue, etc. Additionally, your products' options can be setup with a price, weight, and uniquely created SKU.

The inventory management feature is integrated with product options, so you can track specific combinations of products, such as 50 Small, Red shirts and 40 Medium, Blue shirts.
