occur within AbleCommerce. Simply define the message details and what
event triggers the email, and AbleCommerce
will do the rest!

Create your own emails which can be sent when events happen in the
store. We've listed just a few of the events that can trigger an email:
Order Placed, Order Status Changed, Payment Received, Order Item Changed,
Tracking Number Added, Order Shipped (Full and Partial), Low Inventory
Item (Shipped and Purchased), and Customer Password Request. There

Sending Emails
Your store includes four email templates which are necessary for most
ecommerce stores. They include an order notification, lost password,
vendor notification, and shipment notification. Create as many new
email templates
as you need and assign your own event triggers so notifications can
be sent automatically.
Mailing Lists - Use the user search
interface to easily create on-the-fly mailing lists. Use the simple
three-step
wizard to send
your
customized email messages to members of group or individual
users. |

Email Server Configuration
Easily configure your email server gateway with support for
common email servers:
- Persits AspEmail (free with IIS, for a remote email server)
- Persits AspEmail Premium (paid third-party software)
- Microsoft CDonts* (free with IIS, for a local email server)
- Microsoft CDO* for Windows 2003 servers
* Microsoft CDonts and CDO are not supported in
CFMX version of AbleCommerce. |
