Website File Manager
Manage and customize all your store's templates using the fully integrated
File Manager system. After you enter your custom headers and footers into
the default Theme, and modify a Cascading Style Sheet to match your colors
and font styles, you will have a store ready to start selling.

The File Manager shows the files and folders in your store directory.
From here you can add, edit, and delete files. You can also manage
and navigate your folders.

Search Engine Friendly Store URLs  NEW
FEATURE
The URL rewriting technology built into AbleCommerce allows your store
to publish "static" links to your categories, products, and
webpages. Static links give useful information to the user as well
as make your site more compatible with search engines. |

On the Internet, many users find what they are looking for through
a search engine. For online merchants, being high on the list of search
results can help to drive traffic to your site. As a general rule,
search engines have difficulty indexing a dynamic web site such as
an AbleCommerce store. To make sure your site gets the placement it
deserves, AbleCommerce provides the ability to create a static site
map as well as to use search engine friendly URLs.

Style Sheets
In the retail web pages, CSS is used to customize the look, feel,
and style of the content. Within a CSS file, you can specify options
like fonts, colors, margins, borders, and more. When used correctly,
the look of your web site can be completely transformed by switching
from one style sheet to another.

Themes
Most websites have a common set of elements that are shared across
all pages, such as headers, footers, and side navigation. In AbleCommerce,
these common elements are defined by a Theme.

A Theme contains Header and Footer content for your web page. A Theme
also lets you specify how the primary navigation will be displayed.
You can change the wording for each navigation link. The extra side
bar features Specials, What's New, Search, etc. lists which can also
be turned off and on, or easily moved around in the columns, or not
displayed at all.
Themes can be applied to the entire store, a wizard page, or even
to a specific category, product, or other content object.

Wizards
Wizards are a special
kind of web page that let you configure look and feel by making selections
on an HTML form. AbleCommerce includes over 35 store templates that
each have common and unique wizard selections. There are too many to
list, but a few common pages are below -
