CHAPTER 12 Reports
AbleCommerce enables you to keep track of sales and your stores progress from an accurate and thorough reporting system.
When you click Reports from the left navigation menu, a screen displayed below will be shown.
There are three classifications of reports; Summary Reports, Statistic Reports, and Activity Reports.
Summary reports include reports on Sales Summary, Product Breakdown, Shipping Breakdown, and Taxes Breakdown.
Statistic reports include reports on product popularity, repeat customers and high spending / low spending customers.
Activity Reports provide web server statistics (such as browser types) regarding the visitors to your site. These are only available to merchants who have activity logging enabled by the store group administrator.
For all of these reports you can specify the date range that you want the report to reflect. This allows you to analyze how sales change over time. For example, you can enter the dates that a particular discount was in effect for and then compare the results with non-discount dates. By default, when you enter a report page it will be ready to display the results from one week prior to the present day.
