This may be one of our most important updates ever! Please read below to see if you are affected by the changes currently happening in the eCommerce industry.

UPS announced that customers should begin migrating on 6/5/2023 with a final deadline of 6/3/2024.
In the latest release of AbleCommerce 9.0.9, a new plugin for UPS shipping is available. It uses the new O Authorization technology to secure your shipping account. Migration to the new version can start any time after upgrading.
FedEx also announced that they will be retiring FedEx Web Services on May 15th, 2024, in less than 7 months.
A new FedEx with OAuth plugin is available as a separate download. It can only be requested through your order and delivered to customers with an active software license subscription. Compatible with AbleCommerce versions 9.0.6 through 9.0.9 only.
USPS has made a vague announcement about moving to the secure OAuth version of their latest shipping API.
Unfortunately, their API is not ready for production so the new plugin we are developing for USPS is awaiting updates and final testing. Once it is ready for final release, we will notify customers via the forums and software newsletter.
On July 1st, 2023, Google ceased support for Universal Analytics.
Replaced by Google Analytics 4 and included in AbleCommerce 9.0.7 and later versions.
Users see browser errors and warnings for old installations missing the ability to secure SSL for all pages in the store.
Applies to all version 7 installations through AbleCommerce Gold R11 (Build 8643).

Upgrading to the latest version just got easier!

With our new Data Merge Plugin, you can track all your design changes while developing the new AbleCommerce 9 store. When you are ready to take the new store live, simply upgrade one last time, and then automatically apply the CMS design changes from development using our new plugin. This is new feature to help customers upgrade from AbleCommerce Gold and 7. For more information, please see Merge CMS Staging Data Plugin.

AbleCommerce 9.0.9 released on 10/10/2023

The 9.0.9 update, recently released on October 10th 2023, includes a new integration with QuickBooks, new shipping integrations for UPS, FedEx, and USPS coming soon. Please review the help site for upgrade instructions and the change log.

Even if your subscription has lapsed, we still encourage late renewals to keep your perpetual unlimited license active. Some customers may prefer our new subscription license model which still gives you all the same features with plans starting as low as $295 per year. Just calculate how many admin users are needed to manage your store, and then it will be easy to decide on the best license plan to meet your budget.
