Payment Methods

Create as many payment methods as you need using the built-in forms for American Express, e-check, Diner's Club, Discover, JCB, Maestro, postal mail, MasterCard, phone order, purchase order, Switch/Solo, Visa, and Visa debit (Delta/Electron). Match any of the credit card payment methods with one or more payment gateways for even more flexibility. You can also assign payment methods to selected user groups. This works great if you want to offer special payment terms for approved groups of customers.

The CVV value, also called the bank code or card security code, is collected from the customer and submitted to the payment gateway over secure https encryption. When this value matches the card number, the gateway will usually send back an "approved" response and the order is processed. At no time is the card security code stored. In fact, it is a violation of your credit card agreement to store this information in any way. All sensitive information that can be stored in the database is encrypted and you have control of the encryption keys.

• U.S. Postal Service - shipping rates from USA, domestic and international.

 

Used in combination with warehouses and zones, you can create a very granular shipping system based on the types of products purchased. This works well when shipping perishable or live products, or items that require special shipping needs.

 

AvaTax Tax Service

When installed, the connector will provide tax calculation services through AbleCommerce using the Avalara AvaTax service. It is a full featured integration that includes tax calculation and address validation. It is compatible with all major features of the shopping cart, for example quantity discounts, shipping charges, and multiple origin/destination addresses.

 

The AvaTax service must be purchased separately from Avalara.com in order to make use of the connector.

Shopping Feeds

You can even add your own custom feed.

• Google Base Feed - upload your products to Google Base.
• Yahoo! Shopping Feed - upload your products to Yahoo!'s Product Submit.
• Shopping.com Feed - upload your products to Shopping.com

 

All shopping feeds support file compression. Any product can be excluded from a feed.
