I'm not sure what happened but my homepage isn't showing up at the domain level, just when you add /Default now. I can't figure out how to change the URL back? On this page the "change" option is not available:

how do I get the homepage back to just www.idautomation.com

Hi,

I am assuming that you are getting the issue on your live AC GOLD site. i-e idautomation.com

The screenshot you shared is from our new AC9 admin interface.
The reference URL you have shared is running AC Gold.

Can you please confirm?

Our live site is running Able 7.0 and that's working fine.

But yes I was referring to our test site running the new CMS that we are hoping to go live with this weekend. I had it working for several months and as recent as yesterday morning, and now it's not, I haven't altered the home page or redirected it to anywhere.

Hi,

It seems some issue with the Redirects configuration (SEO Fixed or Dynamic redirects).

Please try the following steps:

Open your ~/Website/web.config in some text editor and turn off custom errors (mode="Off" ):

Quote:
<customErrors mode="Off" defaultRedirect="~/Errors/Error" redirectMode="ResponseRewrite">

Also under appSettings section in the web.config file, enable the "RouteDebugger" (value="true"):

Quote:
<add key="RouteDebugger:Enabled" value="true" />

Save the changes, and reload the home page in browser. It will show the redirects information at the bottom of page.
This may help you figure out the redirection issue and the real error message.

Once done, turn on the custom errors (mode="On"), and disable RouteDebugger (value="false").

Thanks,
Naveed Ashraf

The code changes were already made without my doing, but that chart doesn't make any sense to me at all. The entire website is now currently unviewable :(

Actually, we restored the webconfig from a copy back in January and it fixed the website being viewable. Except the for homepage, it still needs /default at the end but we do not want that. We want the home page to just be www.idautomation.com.
