There is an email template in the default install 'Affiliate Registration'. There is a StoreSettingsManager property for AffiliateRegistrationEmailTemplateId.

But there is no UI to assign that email template to that store setting anywhere in the config settings pages.

So there's no way for an admin to configure the provided email template to be sent when an affiliate is created in admin or updated via the shopper-side affiliate self-signup feature.

The mentioned store settings "AffiliateRegistrationEmailTemplateId" and the email template 'Affiliate Registration' are configured at store install time. So, you can say its something preconfigured .


However you are right there is no UI option if someone want to change this configuration. I am going to log an improvement task for this issue.
