First time logging in after having AbleCommerce 9 installed and I'm in an endless loop "The security token has expired. Please login again."

How can I clear the expired token?

Hello,

We've never seen that before and it's not been reported. Please let me know a bit more about the situation.

Are there any other users that you can try?
Thank you for your support!

Hi there,

I did log in successfully after installation and since you are using the hosts hack to access the site. I have a feeling it's something to do with that.
Thank you for your support!

Hello Roxanne,

I was able to log into the admin using Chrome, so perhaps Chrome can figure out the CAPTCHA when the hosts file is being utilized, but not IE. Until the site is live I've disabled CAPTCHA and all should be good.
Thank you for your support!

Hi Rebecca,

Glad to hear you are able to log in.

SOLUTION:

If you are behind a firewall where having the Google CAPTCHA is causing trouble on login then you can add a row to the ac_StoreSettings table.

StoreID: 1
FieldName: MerchantPasswordImageCaptcha
FieldValue: False

As all of the store settings are cached you must recycle the application pool and CAPTCHA will be disabled.
Thank you for your support!
