UPS is sending this notice out to users. Can we safely ignore?

URGENT: Expiring Digital Certificate for UPS® Developer Kit URL

The current Comodo Sectigo server certificate used for UPS Developer Kit transactions submitted to https://onlinetools.ups.com will expire on February 2, 2022.

Beginning January 17, 2022, UPS will update the certificate to the current Comodo Sectigo at which time customers can download the new certificate. The migration will be completed January 21, 2022.

Most customer interfaces will download the certificate automatically. In the event your application uses a separate certificate store you will need to work with your IT resources to update it.

After January 21, 2022 if your certificate has not been updated your UPS Developer Kit API transactions will fail.

If you have any technical questions or concerns, please call 1-800-247-9035.

Yes you can ignore. The message is only for people who specifically download the UPS cert and install it on their local server for enhanced security. It doesn't apply for gateway connections via the API in a normal Able install.

Thanks Joe. I received the notice yesterday and was also wondering if we needed to be concerned.
Thanks for your support!
