We are trying to install Able on our windows server.

But are unable to do so as our hosting company tells us "that most of your .dll files are infected" They are using Symantec antivirus.

Has anyone else come across this issue.

We have uploaded the zip installation file and unzip on the server and still have the same issues. We are using a completely new server.

Thanks

It's possible the zip was infected before being uploaded. Have you tried re-downloading the zip from the AbleCommerce site (using a different computer) and then uploading that to your hosting platform?

I have seen Sonicwall firewalls throw a false positive on the /bin/NVelocity.dll file.

Thanks Joe,

We downloaded on to two different PCs in two different locations. Uploaded the unzip files and zip files and deleted files between each try. Ran our anti virus over the download and unzip files etc. and it says it's clean.

We feel our problem is a permission one (all our other hosting in done on Linus so are not familiar with windows servers) but with our hosting company stopping certain files from loading we are a bit stuffed.

We are currently looking into another hosting company.

Thanks again.

Hmmm sounds like you've covered a lot of the bases.

I'm happy to help you test it on my hosting platform if you'd like to give it a shot. Just let me know.
