                A developer has added the following to the public class FeaturedProductsGridParams : ProductItemDisplayParamsin the ProductModel.

 [Browsable(true), DefaultValue("~/Assets/BookSlider1.txt")]
 [Description("Item Source File Path")]
 [DisplayName("Slider File Path")]
 public string SliderFile { get; set; }

 When the widget is added to the inner template of the home page, the SliderFile value is saved OK- it shows when the parameters are reloaded in the admin.

 The widget is used several times on the home page, but they all pick up the DefaultValue of ~/Assets/BookSlider1.txt, even though different ones are set in the admin. What else needs to be done?
 Thanks

                When you place a widget from a retail side it is page-specific and marked as customized. when you made changes in the inner template from the admin side those changes were not reflected on the retail side. To solve this go to Admin -> Website -> Customized Pages -> Content Pages
 Reset the Home Page to reflect the admin changes to the retail side. |

                Thanks. I hadn't known that someone had edited the home page from the store side. That fixed the parameters |
