Hello! First off, tried to login to this forum and it failed. Used Lost/Forgot password and it threw an error. I recall reading about SSO so went to sign in to the AC main site, that failed, I reset the password and all is fine now.

I see "Moderate" on the top right, not sure if you intend for your new users to be moderators here in this forum?

As to AC9. I downloaded the installer and examined the solution. I did not run it. Just being up front and honest, I see NHibernate is still being used. I think NHibernate did great damage to this product as it's not intuitive or .NET friendly. It's too late in 2018 to be releasing a new ecom product, as you know. I suggest taking the time and switch to Entity Framework if you truly want to give new life to this product/brand. Yes, it will take time, but the time taken will reap far greater benefits in the long run. My $.02.

Hi Neal,

Thanks for the feedback as always. This forums permission was certain set incorrectly and that should be fixed! We intend on migrating to entity framework once it's ready for prime time in .net core. We spent 2 or 3 months evaluating during our initial discovery phase for v9 and it just wasn't ready. So our focus on AC9 was to make it easier for everyone to manage their store with strong content management features. We certainly would have liked to of released earlier in the year and that was the plan, but releasing a stable product was more important than timing in the end.

Regards,
Mike
