I think there is a bug on the latest update 9.0.1.5867
I just received an order without seeing any item in the transaction. Very strange. I never seems before
Can the system process '0' item order?

Hi, Can you provide some more details? What is the payment method used with this order if any? Does it have any registered customer? Are there any existing orders for that user?

Status: 2nd try of the same time. First order failed through Paypal

Hello Marco,

What probably happened is the customer attempted the Paypal payment and it failed, so they may have used the BACK button to return to the Payment page instead of retrying the payment from the receipt page.

This is something we can test for.

It happened again today

Hi Marco,

We have confirmed that the customer used the Back button after placing the order. I'm not sure why, but perhaps there was an issue with the payment.

It will be fixed in the next version which we hope to be at the end of January.

If you need a fix sooner, I can have a developer post the code. The change would need to be made in the source code and recompiled, so generally you would need a development or staging area to make these kinds of changes, which can then be pushed to the live site.
