We have a 9.0.7 site launching on Monday and they have the ProductFinder in the left nav on their category page. Clicking on a manufacturer does not filter the products by manufacturer, like it did in Gold. Could we get code to fix that? I've looked at it some and looked in 9.0.8 code but nothing has changed there. The manufacturerId is put into the querystring of the category page after you click on the manufacturer.I just can't quickly figure out a way to fix this and still have paging work after you click a manufacturer also.

Hi Judy,

I believe that the Product Finder widget has only been tested to work with the Search page. I reviewed the widget description and it says, "Used with the search results widget, the product finder allows a user to filter by category, brand, keyword, or custom attributes."

Not to say it couldn't be customized, but the developers are on leave today so I can't get a quick fix, assuming there is one.

I am able to reproduce the issue.

To fix:

1- Open the file \Website\Controllers\CategoryController.cs

2- Search for

Code:
public ActionResult CategoryGridPage(CategoryGridPageParams parameters, int page = 1, int pageSize = 0, string shopBy = "", string sortExpression = "IsFeatured DESC, OrderBy ASC, Name ASC")


3- Replace with

Code:
  public ActionResult CategoryGridPage(CategoryGridPageParams parameters, int page = 1, int pageSize = 0, int manufacturerId = 0, string shopBy = "", string sortExpression = "IsFeatured DESC, OrderBy ASC, Name ASC")


4- Search for line # 665 and remove the following code

int manufacturerId = 0;
