Hi, normally you can click any drop down (select) list anywhere to drop down the list.

In some special cases, you have to click precisely on the down arrow.

Because of that, some users think they have to click the down arrow to drop down a list.

Drop downs that are required can't be clicked on the down arrow, but everywhere else is clickable. This leads some of our users to think the drop down is "broken" or "disabled".

(I wish I could post a screenshot here without having the img hosted somewhere.)

The drop down is not clickable where "required field" indicator is.

I hope this is clear. It wasn't clear to me at first.

Removing the "required-icon" class from the div makes the drop down properly clickable.
Perhaps the required indicator should be outside the drop down?
