Rank: Newbie Groups: Registered Joined: 7/20/2023(UTC) Posts: 3		I am new and installed iis and asp.net for windows 10. I copied the website directory to my root of my site's drive. However, when I put connect my site to browser I am getting 500 error. Have no idea why or where to look.

Change <customErrors mode="On" t0 <customErrors mode="Off" Change <compilation debug="false" to <compilation debug="true"

Please see this article: https://support.pkware.c...to-iis-application-pools You'll need add permissions for: IUSR (default IIS user) IIS AppPool\<myappoolname> Hope this helps.
