The Fall 2023 release of AbleCommerce is now available for download. As an active subscription holder, the incremental upgrades are shown in your AbleCommerce store. Click the Upgrades menu to download.

Important Announcement regarding U.S. Major Shipping Carriers -

All three major shipping carriers, USPS, UPS, and FedEx are in the process of migrating customers to a new, more secure, API that uses O Authentication to ensure your shipping account cannot be used by unauthorized users. All carriers are in the process of expiring the older insecure API integrations.

  • UPS announced that customers should begin migrating on 6/5/2023 with a final deadline of 6/3/2024. In this release, AbleCommerce includes a new plugin for UPS with OAuth and migration to the new version can start any time after upgrading.

    FedEx also announced that they will be retiring FedEx Web Services on May 15th, 2024. A new FedEx with OAuth plugin is available as a separate download. It can only be requested through your order and delivered to customers with a valid subscription.

    USPS has made a vague announcement about moving to the secure OAuth version of their latest shipping API. Unfortunately, the API is not ready for production so the new plugin we are developing for USPS is awaiting updates and final testing. Once it is ready for final release, we will notify customers via the forums and software newsletter.

Forgot to mention another new feature...

Upgrading to the latest version just got easier!

With our new Data Merge Plugin, you can track all your design changes while developing the new AbleCommerce 9 store. When you are ready to take the new store live, simply upgrade one last time, and then automatically apply the CMS design changes from development using our new plugin.

This is new feature to help customers upgrade from AbleCommerce Gold and 7. For more information, please see Merge CMS Staging Data Plugin.
