My superuser login does not get the Edit Groups button on the Admin Groups page. And I cannot set an admin group assignment in the User Groups edit-user page either. That page only let's you assign user-level groups.

I have no ability to change my own group assignments.

In AC9, we have restricted the current admin superuser to edit his own roles to avoid a situation where a user gets himself locked.

If you have multiple admin super users then you can change the admin user roles by logging in with a different super admin user.

Thanks

Technically, you didn't "restrict" it. Restricting it would be prohibiting the downgrade of permissions within the edit-groups dialog.

What you did was completely prevent a super-user from changing ANY of his admin group assignments.

There's a huge difference. Especially in a larger install with multiple admins and multiple admin groups involved.
