While building our website, I made many copies of inner templates. I have deleted them after the fact to keep everything clean, they were deleted using the admin area. But in the directory structure off the main website, under views, and shared, there's many inner templates that still exist with the prefix of "CopyOf".

These inner templates no longer exist in the system, but still exist in the directory structure. I am assuming that it is safe to remove them from the directory structure?

Sorry for so many questions, but we are just a few weeks from launching and trying to clean things up.

Many Thanks,
-Ray

Creating an inner template will save the physical file with the same name whereas renaming or editing the name of the inner template will not update the associated physical file name.
You can delete the inner templates files if they are not associated with any database entry of inner template.
