Where is the UPS login information stored? Obviously, it's not in the database because when I restore the database from one server to the next, I constantly have to go back in and reenter the info.

Hi Ray,

The gateway configuration data is stored in the database. table = ac_ShipGateways, column = ConfigData. This column data can be encrypted.

So you might have applied the encryption key to the running install. Please ensure that you have restored the encryption key to the install on the new server.

Going to require a bit more information, both systems have the same key in the same place. So, exactly what is the procedure being if I have to restore on a different server?

Do I copy the key from the production server to the development server manually?

Do I restore the database first on the development server, and then go in the Admin and hit restore key?

Slightly confused,

You need to take a backup of encrytion key and then restore the key in the development server.

You will find the option in admin - configure - securirty - encryption page.
